It’s been an eventful few days for Team Shadowfax and we have some exciting launches and big plans to show for it.
We have just launched hyperlocal operations in Navi Mumbai — with a record number of initial merchant sign-ups (50+ outlets). Navi Mumbai is an area with the promise of 30,000 deliveries every day and we have targeted on-boarding 150 Shadowfax Riders in the next 45 days to cater to our clients’ delivery needs.
As part of our continual expansion in Bangalore, we have also launched a new hub in North Bangalore. And that’s not all. The plan is to achieve 100% growth in the city’s hub operations. And we’re helping our clients grow their business too — our unique 90-minute customer pick-ups and 6-hour intra-city delivery offering make it possible for our clients to service 100+ new pincodes in Bangalore.
In the quarter that’s gone by, we successfully optimized the cost of delivery as well as improved efficiencies via a series of new products and process enhancements. With a few more exciting launches in the pipeline for the next 2 months, we are all set to raise the bar even higher.
The current launches will support our plans for sustainable business growth. We believe in focusing on unit economics and sustainable business models. And that’s why we are confident of breaking even in the first 7 days while subsequently moving towards unit-level profitability.
All our existing clients have already signed up to work with us in the newly launched areas — a sign of increasing confidence in the Shadowfax business model. Our list of clients includes Holachef, Bigbasket, McDonald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Paytm, Myntra, Voonik etc. — our partners who have been by our side, as we grow from strength to strength, together.
Our clients in Navi Mumbai and North Bangalore will be empowered by our reliable delivery service — be it end-to-end tracking of delivery performance, a growth-enabling model or a 50% reduction in delivery cost. The new Shadowfax tech platform also enables automated attendance, automated allocation of orders, OTP confirmation, route optimization and a prepaid wallet system — all coming together to offer clients a seamless delivery experience.
